 1 Clearing House Automated Transfer System (CHATS) is the RTGS system originally designed for HKD interbank payments. 2 Bank refers to licensed bank and restricted licence bank in Hong Kong, if applicable. 3 Other refers to overseas bank. 4 It is known as "Settlement Participant" in FPS who maintains a settlement account in FPS with access to all FPS services. 5 It is known as "Clearing Participant" in FPS who has access to all FPS services and engages a Settlement Participant for settling funds in FPS.
