 1 Clearing House Automated Transfer System (CHATS) is the RTGS system originally designed for HKD interbank payments. The reported figures include only large-value interbank payments and the net settlement of various types of bulk electronic payments in the systems. 2 ECG refers to various types of bulk electronic payments to be cleared and settled through the clearing house on a multilateral netting basis. 3 For each type of payment under ECG. 4 Since FPS fully launched on 30 Sep 2018. 5 Real time credit transfer payment. 6 Real time direct debit payment. 7 Batch mode payment.
